Whoo Hoo! – A Pop-Up Graduation Card

It’s Sneak Peek Week for Karen Burniston’s June 2025 release of ten new dies and five new clear stamps. For this colorful graduation card, I used several of the new sets including Party Balloons, Arch Pop-Up, and Graduation Elements die sets and Grad Greetings stamp set.

Watch the process video to see how I made this card.

Cardbase: An 5.5×8.5-inch rectangle of double-sided patterned cardstock was scored and folded into a side-fold 4.5×5.5 size card.

Arch Pop-Up: Cut out the six dies in the Arch Pop-Up from double-sided patterned paper. Assemble as shown in the video above adding the arms from the bottom up on the arch. Remember that the lower curved arm pieces have the straighter sides pointing towards the inside of the arch. Curved sides pointing to the outer sides of the arch. The boomerang shapes are the second set of arms added to the arch and the straight piece goes on the back of the arch at the top.

Balloons: Cut more balloons than you think you will use in all sizes and shapes using the new Party Balloons and/or the previously released Balloon Collage Add-Ons die sets.

Sentiments: All the sentiments were stamped using the Grad Greetings stamp set with in black ink and cut out using the banner and oval dies in the Lorna Label Pop-Up and the smallest fancy label and oval in the Rectangles and Labels – Crosshatch. The graduation cap and diploma are from the Graduation Elements die set.

Envelope: The card fits into an A2 (4.25x 5.5-inches) size envelope with a die-cut balloon and stamped sentiment from the glued to the back flap.
