I made this card for Craft Roulette episode #277 while I was at Paperganza, the first in-person version of Craft Roulette. The parameters were a zoyfold card, local sports colors, Craft Roulette as an element, and up-to-date as the random.
What the video below to learn how and why I created the card using all but two items from the Paperganza swag bag/classes. (The two items were the cardbase cardstock and the pop-up mechanism that I had die-cut at home before going to the event.)
Here are two birthday cards I made using a stamp and coordinating die and stencils set from This Calls For Confetti and Karen Burniston’sKatherine Label Pop-Upand Happy Birthdayword die sets.
Watch the process video to see how I made this card.
I made two versions of the card – one using patterned paper as a background and the other with a stenciled card front. Both started with a purchased A6 (4.5×6.25-inch) cardbase with matching envelope. Both have the pop-up sentiment inside with the words, shadow and mechanism being cut from an additional cardbase and colored with the same Distress Ink colors used to stencil the cake.
Envelope: The card fits into an A6 (4.5x 6.25-inches) size envelope stamped with a sentiment from Craft Roulette.

I started a new challenge for 2025 – the ATC calendar challenge. With a group of crafty friends, we are making a new image on a 4.25×5.5-inch calendar card for each month.
July’s card is made with Stampin’ Up’s Notes & Totes dies and stamps.
Learn how I made this calendar by watching the video below.

It’s Sneak Peek Week for Karen Burniston’s June 2025 release of ten new die sets and five new clear stamp sets. For this interactive glitter unicorn birthday card, I used several of the new dies including the Leaping Animals, Display Helpers, Whirly Wheel and Rainbow Add-Ons as well as the stamps in Birthday Magic and Movie Night sets.
Watch the process video to see how I made this card.
Cardbase: An 5.5×8.5-inch sheet of light weight white cardstock was scored and folded into a side-fold 4.5×5.5 size card. Watch the video above to see how I cut the half circle into the card and cut my decorator panels of patterned cardstock using the Rectangles – Crosshatch dies.
Unicorns: I used four unicorns on the card made with the Leaping Animals die set. Watch the video above to see how to assemble the animals. There are five dies needed for the unicorn – body, underbelly, horn, mane and tail. Cut the tail, mane and underbelly from pink, horn from gold and body from white.
Whirly Wheel: Cut one wheel and one large thermometer from sturdy pink cardstock using the Whirly Wheel die set. Cut one washer from a sturdy cardstock. (Color doesn’t matter as it will be hidden.) Using stencil feature, ink in arrows on the wheel (or use the Whirly Wheel Words stamp set.) Assemble wheel as shown in video above.
Lorna Label Pop-Up: Watch either the video above or the assembly video located at the bottom of the page linked to the Lorna Label Pop-Up.
Sentiments: The sentiments were stamped using the glitter and unicorns sentiment and “Let’s celebrate!” from the Birthday Magic stamp set. The “Happy Birthday” from the Movie Night set.
Display Helpers:Using the lift dies from the Display Helpers, install at either side of the Lorna Label Pop-Up following the video above. (Using the Display Helpers stamp set, you can stamp out a note to include in your card that says “Lift the tab for display and lower the tab to close the card.”)
Envelope: The card fits into an A2 (4.25x 5.5-inches) size envelope with a die-cut heart from the Lorna Label Pop-Up set glued to the back flap.

It’s the Karen Burniston design team challenge for June 2025 using the theme of Animals and Characters. I chose to make a Wizard of Oz themed card using a variety of die sets. (See Materials Usedfor the list of dies usedlocated at the bottom of this post.)
Watch the process video to see how I made this card.
Cardbase: Start with a 8.5×5.5-inch piece of single-sided patterned cardstock and fold in half to form a side-fold A2 (4.25×5.5-inch) card. Cover the two inside panels with decorative papers cut with the largest die in the Rectangles – Crosshatch die set.
House Pop-Up: (Watch the assembly video for Tiny House Pop-Up located at the bottom of the linked page.) Follow the directions in the process video above for the modifications made to the Tiny House Pop-Up using the Beach Bar Tiny House Add-Ons to add a porch to the house.
Characters: (Watch the assembly videos for Paper People, Knight and Dragon, and Monkey and Lion located at the bottom of the linked pages.) Follow the directions in the process video above for the modifications made to these die sets for the specific characters. For the Witch’s legs cut two strips of white cardstock 1/8-inch thick and draw red strips on them. Die cut shoes from the Witch and Cauldron die set in red glitter cardstock.
Sentiments: All the sentiments used on the card are stamped using brown ink and Riley and Company Wizard of Oz Dress-Up stamps.
Envelope: The card fits into an A2 (4.25x 5.5-inches) size envelope stamped with a sentiment from Riley and Company on the back flap in brown ink.

Craft Roulette is the ultimate card making challenge show on YouTube where guest crafters join host Mary Gunn to spin the wheel and get four parameters of project, colors, element and random to make a card or project in about 45 minutes or less.
This card was made for Craft Roulette #264 whose parameters included a card for an influencer, dreamy colors, crafts/crafters, and off center.
Watch the process video to see how I made this card.
Cardbase: Cut an 8.5×11-inch piece of heavy white cardstock into two pieces that at 4.25×11-inches. Score and fold in half at 5.5-inches both pieces. On one piece score and fold at 2.75-inches. Glue the two cards together with the large rectangle panels overlapping as shown in the video. Cards: Because this card is going to Mary Gunn, I used images from her Craft Roulette Community Showcase gallery, picking cards that are iconic to the show. I tried to recreate some of the fun folds and bookmark cards.
Guide Sheet to Cards: This sheet is folded and tucked in a pocket on the back of the card.
Envelope: The card fits into an A2 (4.25x 5.5-inches) size envelope.

Needing multiples of the same card layout, I made 16 cards for a dog lover’s card swap using one Echo Park Paper Company’s collection kit I Love My Dog and Karen Burniston’sFlip Frame Pop-UpandHellodie sets.
Watch the video for instructions on the construction of the cards.
Read more below on specifics of this card layout.
Cardbase: From each sheet of 12×12-inch cardstock, cut two 5.5×8.5-inch panels. Fold each panel in half to form a 4.5×5.5 cardbase.
Flip Frame Pop-Up: Watch the assembly video for the Flip Frame Pop-Up located at the bottom of the linked page. Cut one mechanism from matching cardstock to the card inside. Cut the journaling card down to 3 .75-inches tall x 3 inches wide. Glue mechanism and journaling card into card base as shown in video above.
Sentiments: The die cut shadow and word “Hello” on the card front are by Karen Burniston. All the flip panels with sentiments are journaling cards from the paper collection. A personalized inside sentiment panel will be added to the inside right panel.
Envelope: These cards fit into an A2 (4.25×5.5-inch) envelope. The envelope flaps have been decorated with stickers from the kit.
